Sooo, Anybody else think clouds are the most awesome things?! I have a slight obsession with the darn things though I’m not great at painting them. They end up looking a bit cotton-wooly half the time… Anyway, a couple of weeks back now we had some pretty crazy thundery weather back home and some of the cloud formations were just epic! Inspired me to go back and practice painting them a bit more!

Wow. This is the very first image I did on the ipad-I had absolutely no idea what I was doing so it’s kind of crude painting-wise. I pretty much use an app clled Procreate for all my images. I’ve tried others but I just can’t get used to either the interface or the layout. Anyway, this has had a bit done to tidy it up in photoshop as I had left it a little rough around the edges…It needed a bit of colour tweaking and some work on the old guy who just hasn’t got any luck catchin’ fishies.

So…. I guess I lied in my last post when I said I would upload stuff more often…ooops! Well, anyway, it’s been pretty busy over the past 6 months, and for the last three I only had access to an ipad for digital work. I have to say that it’s an amazing piece of tech- but not the easiest to produce work on, especially if you are used to the multi-functional photoshop… I did manage to get some stuff done on it though- these are the first three images from the ipad that have been vetted in photoshop for some colour correction/cropping etc…

I have been conspicuous by my absence these last few weeks. I’ve been busy busy with family stuff that has been stressing me out to the nth degree… I’m gonna try and get back into artwork though- it’s a stress reliever I find! Here’s a composition that has been rattling around in my brain for a couple of days- I managed to snatch a couple of hours here and there to make an image of it. My colour use needs work- so expect a few more of these types of images in the next few weeks…
