So this was started quite a while ago as a serious foray into completing a character design on the ipad…Then freelance work came a-calling and it got put on hold. Finally found a bit of time to finish this today. The lighting effects were done in photoshop…Note to the Procreate app on the Ipad- in the next update could you add some kind of gradient or fill tool? Pretty please? 🙂
Ooops- these will probably never get finished- either because they were kind of half-baked ideas to begin with or I haven’t found time in amongst other work projects… Eh- there are a lot more where these come from…
SketchDailes prompt “Storm” from the Xmen. I chose to represent the one I remember from Xmen: The Animated Series – have fond memories of summer holiday mornings watching that!
For Sketch Dailies- managed to get o the front page again- whoo!
So…the prompt for this Sketch Dailies was “Wulver”- which I’d never heard of before, but is apparently a werewolf-type creature from Shetland Isles’ folklore…That’s awesome- thanks Sketch Dailies for expanding my (admittedly pretty limited) knowledge of folklore! 🙂
Here is a very pink and girly Unicorn and also my interpretation of Goldilocks for SketchDalies… I’m still working on getting some different rendering styles going… Not sure how successful it is at the moment… I always seem drawn to the female character prompts…
